This year, for Thanksgiving we celebrated it by ourselves. We have always been lucky enough to be invited somewhere for dinner, so I figured that I was overdue to cook our own this year. I was pretty nervous that I was going to mess up the turkey. So, I called my dad for turkey cooking instructions, and it turned out delicious! We really enjoyed just staying home, cooking and relaxing with the kids. It was perfect. We went for a walk to the beach around sunset and ran into some friends there. They invited us over to their place for pie and games, which was a great way to end the day.
Last night we went to Whitmore Village to pick out a Christmas tree. It is so much fun to get a fresh tree. Jonny was absolutely thrilled the whole time. Here are some pictures of us picking our tree out..
When we got home, we decorated our tree, while listening to Christmas music and drinking hot chocolate. I will have to post some pictures later of our awesome tree.
