We had a great Halloween this year. I dressed up as Little Bo peep and Sophia was my little sheep. Oly dressed as a jail bird and Jonny was a Sheriff. So we kind of coordinated with one another.
Here is Oly's pumpkin he carved. He whipped out his power tools and really took his time. I think it turned out awesome.
Here are a couple pics of our cute kids with the pumpkin.

It looked pretty cool glowing in the dark.

Here a couple of pictures of us at the playgroup Halloween party. It was held at my friend Lala's house. We all had a great time.
On actual Halloween night we went trick or treating in our neighborhood. This is the first year we went trick or treating with our kids. Jonny LOVED it. He really scored with the candy, because people would spot Sophia in the stroller and give him double to "share" with his little sister. Yeah right.
I thought it was kind of odd that everyone here had little tables set up in front of their houses with candy on them. I wanted Jonny to have the experience of knocking on doors. After talking with my dad, I realized the reason most people have to knock on doors is because it is cold outside and the people want to wait in their houses to hand out candy....

I asked someone to take a picture of all of us together. It took her about three tries before she figured out how to click the shutter. The kids got tired of waiting.. hence this pic...

Across the street from my house is a Baptist church, and every year they have a Halloween bash open to the public. This is the first year we decided to go, and let me tell you we have been missing out! It was pretty much the coolest thing I have ever done on Halloween. Everything was free! They had free kids rides, face painting, lots of food, a band playing, games and a huge tent full of free toys, books and clothes. I got some clothes for the kids, Jonny picked out some super hero action figure toys and I got Sophia a activity center.
